Old Scottsdale Scottsdale is a rather affluent suberb to the North of Phoenix. It is slowly expanding and stealing the desert as it grows. Nearby is 'Old Scottsdale' , which is the original settlement to bear the name. It is full of shops and interesting places to visit, and yet another place to see that the tourist coach will miss.
